Bible teacher and scholar A.W. Tozer once said, “The most important thing about you is what you think about when you think of God”.  The 6th grade Bible class explores 18 metaphors of God given to us in His Word. Each metaphor in an attempt to express the unfamiliar in terms of the familiar. Our God is so great, we cannot fully understand Him!  This study draws Him close and personal to each student as we stand in awe of Him as our Creator, yet embrace the fact that He is a Rock we can build our lives upon, the Perfect Father, offers protection as a Hen, is true satisfaction as the Bread of Life; just to name a few.  He truly is a personal God!
